Jasper, There were several remarks that Darden made--that sounded like "double negatives' or errors but if taken literally---they say something else altogether.
Kathleen Sullivan (on E!) made a big deal of some of them. She wrote them down and commented on them. She said that some of the statements were said in such a way that sounded one way but MEANT something else.
She was flustered over them (all this on the video tape I was watching) and said it was like Darden was saying "he quilty" out one side of his mouth but saying "vote not guilty" out of the other.
