BTW, Larry King did an OK job with this but he brags that he doesn't read the books of the guests he has before interviewing them.
If King had read--even part of--Fatal Justice, he could have done a much much better job. MdDonald spent a good deal of the time "correcting" King on his misconceptions and errors about the case.
That wasn't totally bad because a lot of people have the same misconceptions and errors.
ANd I learned that the wife's parents were totally coo coo after the murders. Everything was fine between the father-in-law and Jeffrey until he told them he was moving to CA because the couldn't stand it anymore. The parents had life size DOLLS made up of the children and "played" with them for example.
And if Jeffrey wasn't going to stay and wallow in the sorrow and grab headlines and play detective (just play games) with the father-in-law-he turned against him.
They even showed a photo of the parents with one of the life sized dolls. The mother was holding it in her lap as if it were alive.
It was "if you don't play our game with us" you must be guilty.
