Boy Jasper, you have not been a mother with more than one child, methinks.
You have a young baby that is breast fed and you have to be there. Then you have a child who is performing. What do you do? You take the kid who is performing and get her settled in and run back home and feed the baby and then rush back before your kid dances.
Mothers do these things all the time.
I remember trying to take care of my granddaughter who was being breast fed. I tried to give her a bottle and she just screamed instead. If my daughter had a cell phone at the time, I would have had her run home and then run back to where she was.
Of course she went home and feed the baby. No reason at all to think it was any thing else.
I also doubt that a breast feeding mother would be taking any kind of drugs in that environment. Any educated person would bottle feed if she took drugs. And if bottle feed, then the person taking care of the baby would have feed her and she would not have had to leave the recital.
I guess men just don't realize how much mothers have to figure out how to meet the priorites of their children. She had two big priorites and she solved them by rushing home mid recital.
