All this discussion about the recital and times and watching Cochran's closing arguments and opening arguments made me think of something that I never have before.
Where were the flowers?
OJ gave Sydney flowers after the recital. Sydney didn't want to go to the resturant in her 'costume".
Is it possible that Nicole's errand was to take Sydney home to change clothes and at the same time take the flowers and put them in water.
Cochran says the flowers were in the kitchen in a vase and the knife on the counter was more than likely used to cut the stems before putting them in water.
If she didn't do this--the flowers had to be taken with them to the Mezz and left in the car ?? for approx 2 hrs???
I don't recall Sydney being in that video taken out front after the recital. Anybody know?
If Nic did go home, and Sydney change clothes while Nic put the flowers in water---that would ADD to the time after the recital and before the Mezzaluna.
I think even hurrying---this could possibly take 15 minutes or more.
Also, while reading Garvey's testimony--she says she passed OJ seated as she left the recital to go home---and if OJ was there at 530??, had he gone to get the flowers yet?
And how long did it take him. No evidence of where he got those flowers and when he bought them was given.
And as to DeBello--the point is not whether he had reason to recall what time it was--but whether he had reason to lie about it.
Same for Garvey---she may have had reason to exaggerate about OJ being "mad" but I see no reason to lie about the time...esp. when her "time" flies in the face of what others had said.
I put the end of this recital time in the same category as the Browns and others "fudging" the time when they left LA and when they got home to Dana Point.
Does anybody but me notice that the 1/2 hour time difference KEEPS coming up?
Example--830 or 900? 940 or 910? Arrive home at 937 or 1017? (a little more than a half hour)
Recital ends at near 630 or at 700?
Murder at 1015 or 1045?
It is a pattern throughout the case of what happened that evening.
But a big question would be--did Nicole go home after the recital --for Sydney to change clothes and take the flowers? And if so--why did it become a mystery. What would have been the problem with telling that that is what they did?
