You don’t have to remember where Candice Garvey said she went home. It’s in the transcript http://simpson.walraven.org/feb06.html . What isn’t in the transcript is WHY she said she had to go home.
I had to go to two concerts this year because my grandchildren were in them. Both were plays at the end of LOOOOONG dancing routines and other stuff that was murder to get through. Both of my grandsons had leading parts. O.J. may not have had a menacing look on his face during most of the recital at Paul Revere Middle school but I probably did for most the time I waited for my grandsons to do their thing at Cody High and the Word of Faith church.
Did I tell you about my old girlfriend who talked me into going to a ballet – with way to many guys in tights flitting gracefully around the stage? She loved it. I kept nodding out. When I woke up (probably snorting and slobbering) and looked around, MOST of the guys were dying just like I was. More than a few of them looked like they wanted to kill their dates.
Let’s face it. Chris Darden is a guy. He must have had to go to those things sometime in his life. If O.J. looked “vacant” or “out of it,” or even menacing, Darden probably knew how he felt. –Jasper
