Vanatter does mention the call for a criminalist and that it was immediately after the black and white arrived. They arrived at 5.20.
There is no mention in fuhrman's book about the call, however he is ranting forever about the reasons why they should enter Rockingam immediately after the red spot discovery. I remember his testimony in the prelims, his passionate account for how they made the decision to scale the wall.
