Same with the story of how they entered the house. Kaeling and fuhrman stayed behind in Kaelin's room and Vanatter was mulling around on the other side of the swimming pool when Lange and Phillips walked around the path to enter the house. Fuhrman entered the house through the open patio door, (which Arnelle opened when she returned to her room to get dressed).
"Fuhrman says", we walked in through the patio door and that becomes the lead for the rest of the cops, and as they are used to, they follow.
We had a big fight over this on the Simpson ng, with the NoJ insisting they walked through patio door. I recall August blabbering on about how Fuhrman walked with the rest of the group, and I kept pointing out that Fuhrman's actually wording suggested that he did not.
I recently read the prelim transcripts, and by god there is Fuhrman making absolutely clear he and Kato did not enter with the rest of the group but came in afterewards through the open patio door.
