You also wrote, “It's a certainty that's one reason Clark refused to use it. They would have been required to authenticate the tape, and the effort to do so would have proven they doctored it.” Again, we’re looking at the same evidence and seeing the same thing. Our confluence of views on issues like these are what mystify me when you conclude, “it's just one more example of the massive fraud that occurred in this case that is vastly beyond Fuhrman's poor capabilities to plan or implement.” This is where I think we keep missing each other... You didn’t have to be able to make horses to specification to make a specific TEAM of horses work for you. That’s what makes the McKinny tapes so valuable. They reveal significant details about Fuhrman’s knowledge of how to harness the business-as-usual power of California’s corrupt criminal justices system and his willingness to use it. Chris Springer leaned on this point MUCH heavier than I did in his book Solving the Simpson Murder Mystery and in our private e-mail correspondence. Both of us had decades of experience in professional problem solving. We both enjoyed a considerable amount of success in doing the “impossible,” which can be easier than you think. Getting the credit for it is the hard part because most people have a hard time admitting they were wrong; the more important the issue the greater the resistance. Fuhrman didn’t want credit for the murders and the frame-up. He wanted credit for “discovering” the killer, so he created trail of evidence for him to find that guaranteed he would find O.J. Simpson. On the first page of his first chapter Only in America, Chris (real name Sven, a Norwegian) lays out the killer’s planted evidence in two categories: 1) Evidence designed to convince the investigators IMMEDIATELY that O.J. was guilty. 2) Evidence of neutral significance that the killer planted to entice the investigators and the prosecutors to do what they ALWAYS did when they thought they had a suspect they could convict. That’s what makes the McKinney tapes, the L&V interview tape and the videotapes of the criminal trial proceedings against O.J. so important. Superimpose one relevant passage of ANY of those tapes over another. They not only match, they dovetail. I hope you noticed how I edited your comments (unnecessarily). If you figure out why I did it and what real information got lost in the translation, a bright light should go off in your head. I know you can do it. I don’t know if you will. That’s the point. If you answer too quickly or underestimate my motives you will get it wrong (that’s a hint). If you want to ignore this bit, that’s okay, too. I just thought that you would find it interesting in the context of what we’ve been discussing and you might want to give it a shot. –Jasper.
