I don’t care about typos unless somebody makes one in the Subject line that could get in the way of further communication. I was astounded that I didn’t see ANY of yours before my Word program underlined them. When I backtracked WHY I missed them the answer was simple. I read your message for content and that’s what I saw. I missed your typos for the same reason I miss mine when I type directly to the board, make a lot of changes or type too fast. The UNNECESSARY corrections I made in your work hid the IMPORTANT fact that you wrote it in a hurry and didn’t go back to check.
Okay, I played your silly game one more time and did a text comparison readback of the text you claimned to have edited and the text I originally wrote. The words and punctuation of my original and your edited text were IDENTICAL except for correction of the typos, just as I originally said.
This was a slow, careful, word for word read back of the two texts by two people.
As for youyr response on Spanger, Rossi has nothing to do with this point about Spangler ordering Phillips not to call the coroner. Phillips conceded it was the investogator's responsibility to make the call. He told Spangler he was going to do so, It was, in fact Phillips who subsequently called the coroner. If, as you claimed, he had no more responsibility to do so because RHD had taken over the case, why did he then do it much latrer than when he originally wanted to do it.
Phillips knew what the law required. He wanted to fulfill the requirements of the law. He was there as an ninvestigator, as was Fuhrman. He was Fuhrman's boss, therefore had all the responisbilities that Fuhrman did and more.
Your argument on this is entirely specious. Birning Rossi in is just throwing up a smoke screen.
The key is that Spangler ORDERED him not to call the coroner. You can't get around this. Adn the key fact there is that NO WAY would Spangler have done so except because of ORDERS FROM ABOVE.
That's period, paragraph, end of story.
