Well, well, it didn;t take long, but it's now very clear that the tattered smokescreen Jasper tried to lay tom obscure the significance of Spangler ordering Phillips not to call the coroner when Phillips sopught to do so soon after Spangler arrived is blown away by Fuhrman's answera to the following simple questions Clark asked:
Q. Shown you what's been marked as defendant's 1006. Tell us if you can point out your name, sir, and your time of arrival? A. It's the 10th entry on the log - - 010 -- 210 hours. Our designation was 8W110 and Phillips and myself are signed in on that log? Q. As INVESTIGATORS? A. YES.
There it is. All the citing from Rossi's testimony does not alter the fact that Phillips, Fuhrman's boss, is signed in at the crime scene as an INVESTIGATOR.
As Clark aslo clearly established , even the LAPD's slip shod procedures call for an INVESTIGATOR to fulfill the legal requirement that the coroner be notified immediately about a death like a murder.
That Phillips, the ranking INVESTIGATOR, was ORDERED not to fulfill that legal obligation blows apart Japser's contention that Fuhrman manipulaed the investigation.
The plain fact is that there is NOTHING Fuhrman could have done to stop Phillips from calling in the coroner almost iimmediately. Nor did Fuhrman ev try to talk his boss ouen try to talk his boss out of doing so.
The whole investigation would then have taken a completrely different turn with not only the coroner but the criminalist arriving at the scene promptly to begin their investigation, rather than Fung heading off to the bloody Rockingham location.
Moreover, Fuhrman would have known that was going to happen, and that there was nothing he could have done to stop it.
It was pressure from ABOVE that stopped it, and it is that pressure that also points to where the cover up of the crime, as well as the conspiracy to commit it, originated. Not Fuhrman. That's a smokescreen that covers up the truth.
