LAPD guidelines and CA state law are two separete things. CA state law states that any police officer who finds a body must call it into his station and then call the coroner or ask the guy he calls it into to call the coroner immediately as the temperature of the body is so important to the time of death. These guys ignored State Laws. Why do you think the LAPD and the Coroners office were always feuding.
