Great to have the board back up,and very sorry to hear of Mr. Wagner's passing,there was a first-rate mind at work in his postings always. "Reason" magazine did actually publish my defense of the Simpson criminal jury in reply to Walter K. Olson's piece bashing them.It's in the letters column of their latest issue,available online at reason.com.I was both gratified and surprised,as I took a rather sarcastic tone throughout,but I did really want to know the source of his story of the defense lawyers coming into court dressed in "garments of African kente cloth",supposedly a blatant appeal to racial pride unchecked by the judge. He never did answer,referring me instead to two pieces that turn out to be longwinded book reviews containing no facts at all.I've emailed him at his home page for a clarification,not holding my breath waiting for the reply.
