Very interesting story. I did some "google-ing" and found way too many names from the Simpson saga for there to be a coincidence. Lots of contradictions too.
Spangler, now retired, says he ordered the detective to create a map of celebritie's homes in LA in 1994. Says one year later the detective "dropped" the assaignement(??) LAPD denies any involvement in creating the files at all.
The year 1994 stands out as Nicole was in the files, as was O.J.
Cyndy Truhan, formerly Cyndy Garvey, settled with the LAPD for $400.000. She claims the detective used the files to find her and stalk her after a tumultuos break up. In 1996 Cyndy dated Larry King (who was also in the files) and was also then under criminal charges for falsely accusing someone of stalking her (who?)
Cyndy's ex, Steve Garvey, married Candace in 1998. Candace Garvey was one of Nicole's inner circle party going girl friends after she and Steve separated briefley.
Detective Crismas allegedly sold information about the celebs to the rags. Rags have tight bonds with the maffia. Wasn't the LAPD involved in something like that during Daryl Gates' reign? Gates - fuhrman?
And then there is the expensive now lawyer, Chris Darden to defend the young cop.
