You are right. And in those days, the only way to get into the press was by saying something bad about O.J. I remember Barbieri saying on Larry King that the publishers of her book demaned she tell of incidents of abuse. If not she had to say bad things about Nicole's family. She chose to tell about an incident where O.J. took her cell phone from her in a limo, in anger.
So much for abusive behaviour.
