What if they had been partners in Men Against Women group and he was trying to back out of saying he was his partner. Or, perhaps as with many other things the Defense did when they had a Detective cornered, they backed away with the inference of his lying before about being Furhman's partner. I mean how many partners did Furhman have? You have Brad Roberts. Furhman's, I used have a Black Partner for three to four years and no problems, to refute the Toobin Article. You have Furhman only in Robbery Homicide for maybe six total years as he was still in a patrol car in the mid to late eighties. He wasn't a detective when he wrote his famous letter in 1989. So when could he have been anything but a lesser detective to Phillips for four or five years?
