Ron Shipp arranged moonlighting jobs for LAPD cops but I can’t think of one that he could arrange which would require 10 to 15 people on a 24/7 basis.
I think it was Joe Bosco or Jeffery Toobin who mentioned a moonlighting job that Fuhrman had as a bodyguard for Johnny Carson. I can see how that job might require so many people (working in shifts). Wish I could remember my source.
If that was the job, the mutual friend could have been anyone with Hollywood contacts. The cop who sold the screenplays for a couple of big movies may be a good candidate? Does anyone remember his name? –Jasper
