There is no other Pavelic. The quote I typed from Toobin’s The Run of His Life does not imply that Pavelic was ever pro-Fuhrman. It was only meant to show that he recognized Fuhrman from the moonlighting job for Johnny Carson that he and Phillips did as well. If I had typed the full paragraph it would have been clear.
