You must read Clarks book. Vanatter didn't write the second search warrant. Clark explains that because the first warrant was so bad, she herself took charge of the second one. She had some prosecutor on her team write it and Vanatter to sign it.
Clark places herself in the doorway to the bedroom, careful that from that position she would not have been able to spot the socks on the rug. Roberts called her to come and see the old wedding picture under the bed.
She also makes a point of saying that during furman's Grand tour, he didn't mention a knife box.

I don't think there was too much love between Vanatter and Clark. She doesn't write about him in that way. Not much respect at all.
