If my son was accused of murder and he did not have the means of a decent attorny. I would sell anything I could get my hands on. When people are disperate then they don't worry that much about being proper.
Now if the things where being taken to add to the ring then they probably where not selling anything.
And when was the jewlry taken to the store. It may be that actually he was having it done for Xmas. A wish of hers. Or even when he thought she was coming home.
He is absolutley no sociopath. He has exhibited no abnormal behavior. Even the cheating on the wife falls in the normal range.
