Those are proper questions to ask. When was it taken there. I would assume that if it had been for Christmas, he would have picked it up prior to Christmas Eve.
I said that there needs to be witnesses that she had already stopped wearing the ring prior to the 23rd or 24th. Perhaps she had due to swelling or weight due to the pregnancy.
What I was saying is I think ALL of the property would be in probate and there may or may not be problems if there is a will.
And things of value--esp. things that belonged to Laci CANNOT be sold to pay for his defense. That is the law.
It is my understanding--of which I have no proof but the reporting of (which the only proof we have of ANYTHING in this case) --is that the house and other property has already been signed over to Mark Garagoes--to go thru at the end of the trial. To pay for his fees. I don't know what happens if he loses the case. Scott could not profit from the murder of his wife --if he is convicted.
I will be very interested to learn WHEN the Peterson's took the ring and jewelry to the jewelry store to be altered.
