OJ had an apartment in NY and gave away his winter clothes to the doorman (Fuhrman) who took what he could use and gave the others away either to family and friends or to charities.
Any heavy gloves were gloves that originated in LA for skiing or had made it home with him on a trip that he had left extremely cold weather to come home to visit LA.
OJ would not and did not fool with bringing the winter clothing home with him at the end of the season.
