Where race entered the OJ case was in life experience and the way people looked at the trial.

The jury were the ones who disregarded race. Where whites thought it was very important to them.

Where white people and I am sure some blacks were hung up on race, the jury was listning and undertanding the scientific evidence and found a problem with it. They had had the experience in family or neighborhood of knowing that the LAPD would be capable of framing someone. So with that knowledge they saw thru the frame, by looking at the scientific evidence.

The other group that saw thur the evidence where hospital people. I and nurses that called into Geraldo, knew that the blood by the shoes was wrong. So it had to be planted or come from something the murderer was carring by his side. That came from our life experience of dealing with people bleeding and cleaning it up.

I think this is the reason for the jury. That enought different life experiences can lead to the truth. So they must be varried to do so. Rich-poor, black-white, as many vocations as possible. etc. This may be a lot of what is wrong with our jury system. Too many retired and gov. workers.
