It is a tricky one Jasper and many things as you say are not in the transcripts but in the talk shows or by the pundits in between the testimony.
About the blood spots that turned out to be a food source of some kind. What I mean by that is that several of us remembered that they were there (and associated in some way with taco sauce or ketchup). Others were saying that they weren't there. We at least established that they WERE there and at some point were mistaken for a blood trail into the kitchen--whatever they were actually made of.
We can go with some of the stuff if many people remember the event or conversation even if we can't get the specifics of it.
In many cases, that is ALL that we can do. It would be a mistake to dismiss it and pretend it did not happen. When you do that--you could be throwing away good info.
Since so much is now missing--deliberately or not--we can't just "pretend" it was never there/ You can't base any theory on incomplete info.
