Kari, Right. Michelle did quit in ’94 because of Nicole. Nicole punched her so hard that it caused the side of her face to swell. This is one of the reasons I believe that Micelle, not O.J., slapped Nicole in the ’89 New Years Day incident and the fingerprints on the side of Nicole’s neck were Michelle’s. The bruise on Nicole’s arm was undoubtedly caused when Michelle tried to yank Nicole out of the police car. All things considered, it seems to me that Nicole punching Michelle in the face was long-awaited payback. Nicole was taller than Micelle and outweighed her by 30 pounds. If you’re right about Michelle standing her ground with a big man, that’s more reason to believe that she stood her ground with a drunk and abusive Nicole in ’89. The question I have is whether the slap we heard on the tape was Nicole slapping Michelle or a preemptive strike on Nicole by Michelle. –Jasper
