Nicole’s moved Jeep tells a story. Where it was photographed says that the killer could not have parked in the garage and waited there out of site for Goldman to arrive. It helps support the idea that Goldman’s arrival was unanticipated and the double homicide was not studied and set up well in advance. It creates an impression of something that no one has to think about to accept. The same thing is true of the “blood trail” on Bundy as well as the plastic and the shovel that Fuhrman “discovered” in O.J.’s Bronco on Rockingham. As Miss Marple noted, it’s also true of the stains on the floor that Luper first thought were blood drops.
I think you picked up something here that I tried to get across a long time ago but nobody then seemed to see it the way I did. Maybe you saw it then, too.
Fuhrman’s discoveries form a clear pattern of coming attractions. He “sees” blood on the back gate and suggests in a note that the dog might have been bitten the killer as he passed though it on the way to the killing ground. Later, his partner finds a “blood” trail leading into the Rockingham gate and learns that O.J. has a cut finger. He uses a blood drop near Nicole’s SUV to tell a story of the killer’s vehicle parked in the ally. Then he finds something odd about O.J.’s SUV and a “bloodstain” above the handle. He has his picture taken with a bloody glove on Bundy. Later, he discovers a bloody glove on Rockingham. He "discovers" a big plastic bag and a shovel inside of the Bronco. Later, he finds a small plastic bag on the other side of the south path fence. You need a posthole digger – two hinged shovels – to erect a fence.
Come on now, what are the odds? These are the kinds of associations I looked for in the movies for The Smoking Gun. John thinks they are silly. You know better. --Jasper
