This is the SAME nanny I believe that the Browns got to come and live with them the year that OJ was in jail to help take care of the kids. Later, OJ found out that NONE of the money he sent to the Browns was used to pay this nanny--Ruth--in fact that she had not been paid at ALL by the Browns. More signs of mouching. I think it is the same one as I don't know that they had more than one. OJ was furious.

I do not know if it was OJ's, AC's or the Brown's idea to get her to come. I always thought it strange since there were 5 adults around to take care of the kids and they need a nanny as well???

At the time of the nanny at the Rockingham estate---the nanny may have lived inside or the bungalows---Seems to me, that a nanny would be the one to be INSIDE not the maid.

OJ's house was NOT filled with bedrooms considering it was an Estate. There was the master bedroom, Sydney's bedroom, and an "attic" type or eave type bedroom for Justin and the bedroom downstowns. They really didn't have a guest bedroom--hence, OJ's mother using the bedroom downstairs when she stayed with OJ.

It makes more sense for the nanny to be inside--esp. if Justin was that young at the time.

I have no idea what age that Ruth was but recall hearing somewhere that she "came out of retirement" to work at the Browns (w/out pay it turns out). Maybe they thought it enough to "save' her rent money for a year.
