I never thought about the nanny living anywhere except inside the house until a few days ago when I went back of AC’s testimony of the events preceding Nicole’s first ’89 confrontation with Michelle in the maid’s room. This was definitely Michele’s room. O.J. referred to it as her room and AC not only referred to it as her room but said enough to show that he expected to see her emerge from that room if she had shown herself.
Then when I looked at O.J.’s account of the New Year’s Day incident and Edwards’ it dawned on me that she should have appeared somewhere in at least one of those accounts if she had any knowledge or potential knowledge of what happened. So, although one would think that she lived as close to the children as possible, that wasn’t necessarily true. She could have slept in the maid’s room when O.J. and Nicole were away from home but she didn’t necessarily stay there when they were home. They were obviously home during the ’89 incident. –Jasper
