The common denominator here is Faye Resnick. She knew O.J.’s foreign and domestic itinerary as well as Cathy Randa. I don’t recall whether she was in Mexico with Nicole at the same time O.J. was there but she knew all about it.
Cora Fischman’s deposition leaves no doubt that Faye Resnick arranged for the June 12, 1994 meeting between Ron and Nicole. Faye told Cora about it a few days before Nicole kicked Faye out of her condo. It was supposed to be a 3-way with Ron, Nicole and Faye.
Faye telling Cora about the meeting in advance tells me that she knew where Ron and Nicole were going to be at a particular time after the recital when Ron got off work. It also tells me that she didn’t expect them to be murdered when she told Cora about it. Cora and Faye were not friends. They appeared to be competing for the title of Nicole’s best friend. Faye could have been bragging to get under Cora’s skin.
Something must have happened between the time Faye told Cora about the June 12 playtime with Ron and a week before the murders when Faye checked into the rehab clinic to change the nature of the “big event.” I wonder what she thought the big event was going to be and when she learned the truth. I wonder if there is a way to figure it out and where that will take us? –Jasper
