You are right, the letter looks like some kind of legal note, especilly the signature. And just like Nicole's "diary" doesn't read like a diary, the maid talk in the letter does seem to have some other meaning.
Commander Bushey testified on September 21 that The Simpson still had shared custody of the children. - STILL!! Did he have reason to believe that this status were to change? I believe that Bushey got his information on the Simpsons from fuhrman via Phillips. So could this have been something that fuhrman had personal knowledge of?
It could of cource also be that Gigi asked O.J. to not be held responsible for the children. The "especially around the pool" reminded me of the O.J.'s little daughter who drowned there.
Do you know if the "don't bother my maid letter" was presented in court?
