I seem to remember that this was discussed on Rivera during the trial BUT am not sure.
I, too, never recall any PUBLIC acknowledgement of the photos by the prosecution at any time.
I CAN recall discussion that the prosecution would in fact (total speculation by pundits) use the photos in the criminal trial-but they didn't.
Later, the speculation that the chain of possession (evidence) was so shaky that the DA's wouldn't use it because they would have to document it out the whazoo to get them in.
I am not too sure that the actual photos were shown on Rivera. Others may help with that.
BTW, those shoes don't look like the shoes put forth in the trial as the BM shoes used. They have never looked the same. These look like Hush Puppies or some brand like that...and style like that.
