In my copy of Raging heart,the retraction is on Pg.335. It reads:

A correction

It appears that Nicole Brown Simpson ws NOT slashed in the neck-to-breast fashion described in Chapter 1. Instead, as was eventually brought out at the trial, her throut was probably slashed after she was unconsious; a foot was applied to her back and her head pulled up by her hair before the fatal slash was administered.

The seniment among the friends was according to Weller as one of them said: "When we heard her breasts were slashed, we knew who killed her." You can never undo a first impression, so who ever started that rumor knew what he did.
