Shipp told Carl Douglas in his Feb 1 testimony that he lived in LA all of his life. He said that his brother Mike and O.J. were high school football competitors in San Francisco. He said that he met O.J. in San Francisco after O.J. won the Heisman and his brother Mike came down to Los Angeles to congratulate him.
The confusion seems to be in assuming that Ron Shipp grew up in the same household as his older brother. Apparently he didn’t. It looks like Ron and his brother Skip were raised in LA while Mike was raised in San Francisco. –Jasper
