Lollie,
I apologize for not getting back with you sooner on this.
For years we’ve been told that O.J. had $10, 000 dollars in cash on him when he was arrested. His critics made a big deal out of how that much money in his possession, together with his passport and his fake beard indicated that he intended to flee the country. His defenders and some neutrals, including Joe Bosco, said that none of those things were relevant because he carried the “disguise” and his passport with him long before the murders for other reasons and that he carried large sums of cash after the murders in case his older children needed the money on short notice.
The bottom line is that none of those things really amounted to anything but only now do we learn that he only had a few buck on him. It makes me wonder how many other “facts” that we took for grated were not facts at all but unchallenged rumors that were repeated so often we accepted them as facts.
One item may not amount to much but what of other items we haven’t gotten the real story on? When you put them together, what will they tell us?
It seems to me that O.J. could clear up a lot of things just by making himself available to us. It still irks me that he hasn’t done it. –Jasper
