YOur post made me think of something.
Where was Lou? Was in also in the bedroom with Judy? How did Denise end up with the phone ahead of Lou? Why didn't she get the extension in the kitchen which I assume there is one?
Also, when the Simpson kids came and the old nanny how did they fit into that house? Dom seems to have already moved out by then but that is still a lot of people in that house.
Does anybody know if it was a three or 4 bedroom house? Judy also had her business there which I had always assumed took up one of the smaller bedrooms. Don't forget Denise's child was there as well. Four adults and a child and til recently before the murders another adult and child as well. Five adults and 2 children a bit before the murders and a home office. OJ's house wouldn't have accomodated that--without the use of the "guest houses". Without Dom and son, it is still Judy and Lou, Denise and son, Tonya, the nanny and two other children--Sydney and Justin. Once again 5 adults and 2 children.
Somewhere I saw photos of the inside of their house and as I recall, it wasn't that big of a house.
Perhaps another consideration for the custody was that the Browns tended to have their adult daughters come back and live with them when they got into financial trouble and the house was just not big enough to accomodate Sydney and Justin as well. Perhaps they weren't living there at the time but the tendency was for them to move back in for long periods of time.
