Charlie,

I don’t know exactly where Lou was but he wasn’t in his bedroom with his wife when the call woke her up. Denise did not take the phone away from her father, who was talking to Lange. She took it away from her mother who had only spoken with Arnelle. Two phones – two locations.

Arnelle made the call (not Lange, as he says in Evidence Dismissed). Juditha answered. Arnelle spoke only to Juditha (Arnelle’s testimony July 10). She told Juditha that something terrible had happened but started crying and handed the phone to Lange. Juditha also said that that Arnelle spoke to her and started crying. Denise said that she took the phone from her mother at that point and subsequent events indicate that she did.

The first person Lange talked to was Lou, who confirmed that he was Nicole’s father. That’s when Denise broke in and started doing her MF-O.J.-did-it thing. Lange didn’t talk to Juditha until he finished talking to Lou but he heard Denise while he was talking to Lou….

There should have been plenty of room in the house for Justin, Sydney and the Nanny if Dominique and her daughter were not living there. Tonya moved out shortly after the murders in ’94.

O.J. put Dominique and Tonya through college. I don’t know what Tonya did with her education but Dominique had a good-paying job with the Smith/Barney investment firm. She could make it on her own quite nicely. Denise was closer to Dominique than she ever was with Nicole or Tonya. They lived together in New York and paled around. From everything I can gather, it looks like Denise hung around Nicole only to be near the money, the parties and the status that rubbed off from Nicole’s relationship with O.J.. –Jasper
