Now we know that the Brown family had been living off OJ for years and would do about anything for money but do real work. This also applied to Faye and who knows how many others, including Nicole's lawyers. If Nicole got remarried to OJ then the money would flow again.
Now lets suppose that Nicole really did not want to remarry OJ but was going thru the motions to please family and friends.
Perhaps her diary, etc was a way Nicole had of convincing them that she could not safely remarry him.
