Miss Marple,
Interesting stuff about Fuhrman and those other big cases he was almost instrumental in solving. I especially liked his “good arrest” of the guy who didn’t do it. I will get the book.
Funny how he could remember what he did in the ’84 Olympics and couldn’t remember that he visited O.J. and Nicole on Rockingham that year. O.J. was a commentator for the ’84 Olympics (I Want to Tell You, page 207). In the fall of ’85 (when Fuhrman said he went to Rockingham) O.J. joined HBO’s adult series 1st & Ten.
Funny that O.J. got that date wrong in his book. He says in I Want to Tell You that he joined 1st & Ten in ’86. O.J.’s father died in ’86. He married Nicole in ’85. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in ’85 and his daughter Sydney was born in ’85. Then again maybe it’s not so strange that O.J. (more likely his editor) got the 1st & Ten date wrong. In 1st & Ten O.J. did nude love scenes with former Playboy Playmate of the Year Shannon Tweed but that didn’t happen until 1989, the year O.J. left the series. Wonder how Fuhrman felt about it. –Jasper
