This is exactly what I saw in the tv program about Murder in Spokane. He makes mountains out of molehills. Exaggerates leads and his part in them. Exaggerates the lead's importance til it is ridiculous. And tells how He could have caught the cultprit if only given more of an opportunity. He talked about the "near misses" til it drove me crazy.

I find it very interesting that at key dates he is doing something that is different than what we have been lead to believe. Which is the lie?

Does it strike anyone but me that he gets an abnormal amount of "excitement" from being involved in the big cases--even on a low level?
