I never thought they stole beer repeatedly but it wasn't explained that they didn't go inside somewhere and steal the beer. I, too, find it odd that it was outside--unless it was by the pool or something like that.
I can see the clubs all over the yard if a group had been in the yard earlier and left them just lying there instead of putting them away but as to why they disappeared leaving only the one that implicated MS, I have not a clue.
Unless when it got right down to it, someone took them with the express purpose of implicating MS.
