Demoted for coaching a witness and rigging a photo lineup? That’s absurd. These things are standard practices in every big city police department that I’ve ever heard of.
Rulebooks and standard practices in any large institution are often at odds. Are we supposed to believe that LAPD officers did not routinely coach witnesses and rig photo lineups?
I ain’t buyin’ it.
Whatever Brambles was demoted for, it WASN’T coaching witnesses and rigging photo lineups. –Jasper
