That detail you referred to is in Marc Elliot's book. The spider webs were to the west of Arnelles's window, but kaelin madde his trips on Memorial day, and spiders can rebuild their webs in a matter or hours. See Wagner's web site, also linked here, for details of the Rockingham layout.
