I believe that Ron Fischman was a dentist. Not sure. It has been a long time since I read it. His head-to-toe photo of O.J. at the reception is all that stands between the prosecution’s reliance on Denise and Dominique’s description of the shoes O.J. wore to the recital. They looked very much like Bruno Magli Lorenzos and a verbal description would have matched (suede high-tops with rubber souls). Denise and Dominique were the only people who told police that they saw O.J. wearing Bruno Magli Lorenzos. They knew the Bruno Magli brand because that was a brand than Nicole wore.
I do understand the autopsy report. There were defiantly two knives used. One of them had a long, thin, tapered point. The blade was so thin and it tapered so much that if it made a shallow penetration the wound appeared to have been made by a double-edged blade. The other knife had a short blade with a tip that did not taper as much. Just as Fuhrman claims in his book, the shorter knife made the longest wound in Goldman’s chest (soft tissue compression – bruising around skin). This knife could not have left the appearance of a double-edged knife unless the wound was very shallow. You can tell that the killer held the short knife in his left hand because of the angle it entered Goldman’s body. The blade that went though his neck and clipped his ear on the other side had to be the long one and it had to have been held in the killer’s right hand (thus my drawing on the cover of Iago).
I won’t go into all of the things that tell me there was only one active killer and he use a Swiss Army knife in his left hand and a German Stiletto in his right. I will tell you that he probably had military training because of a particular area that was attacked (Goldman’s upper thigh) and the fact that most of the wound showed that the sharp edge of the blade was pointed upward.
The probability increases every time you and another military style element of the attack (two, strong, athletic adults taken out with bruises on the back of their heads where a soldier – or marine – would have hit them, ideal ambush site, “silent” kills, sure kills, etc.). That’s why I was so interested in the Bundy curve and way the photos that Rose (rovaan) sent me were so important. A solder would have posted a lookout where he could observe without being observed and come to his aid if he ran into trouble. There is such a spot on the Bundy curve.
For Fuhrman to be the killer, all of these things have to fit him…like a glove. They do. –Jasper
