NOw about the wiped clean car of Ron's. I heard that myself and was stunned at it. Not that there were no prints...but that it was said they were wiped clean from the steering wheel.

I half expected them to say no useable prints or only smudges but not that it was wiped clean of prints.

There is a world of difference in the minds of fingerprint experts. Take the knife--evidently there was NO evidence of it being handled at all with the naked hand. It was just as if it had been washed and dried with a dishcloth and not touched by hands except with a cloth.

They know the difference. They are trained to know the difference.

To me, having items 'wiped clean" at the scene indicate that a person was there that didn't want it known that they were there. And it indicates that perhaps it was someone who rode or drove in Ron's borrowed car.

Or someone wanting it to look like the murders took place earlier than they did. If Ron walked over after going home, it would have added 10 minutes or more to his arrival time.

Dick did a bang up job of timing what Ron could have done when he went home and the time it took to do it. Dick was going as fast as he could and still get the job done. If Ron was slower or took his time or had to walk over--it blows arriving before 1015 and being dead by 1015--the prosecution's theory.

CAn we possibly look at the car in the same light as the 1003 on Nicole's watch? The phone call to the police station at 1030 or so indicating that time has passed and they are "sitting" on bodies--all an attempt to put the time of death earlier than it was.

Perhaps Ron's apartment key was stolen by the killer and the car was brought to the scene later (maybe even Monday). Even if brought that night before the bodies are found---it could be a clear attempt to put the time of death earlier.

Perhaps, the old set of keys was taken from the apartment and placed in the scene to replace the set that had Ron's apartment key on it.

Nothing explains why the set of car keys are not listed or not with the set of keys found.
