Exactly! And even if they didn't change the locks, cops could have guarded the doors (back and front) for a period of time.
I have never heard of a residence or building site where a murder took place to be released so fast. Even other things like parking lots, etc. either.
I have told before here that my friend who died with his family of Carbon Monxide poisoning --his house had crime scene tape up for a least a week. And it was only a possible suicide--and if not that an accident. Only a very slight chance of murder. It was ruled an accident.
Heck, they closed it down before they finished with questioning OJ and releasing him. How did they know that there wasn't something that would come up in the questioning that would require them to go in and search?
Very irresponsible. Perhaps deliberately so.
