And don't forget Charlie, they had to look out for "CHPS" (CA. Highway Patrol), always hidden along the freeway...and they had kids lying down in the back with no seatbelts on. Why were the Browns in such a hurry anyway?
Also, regarding the Ice Cream Shop: It always seemed strange to me that Nicole and/or the Browns did not buy an ice cream cup for Denise & Dom's two boys to eat on the way home. Whether you have children or can think back to your own childhood isn't it rather cruel to let these two young nephews know you & your kids are going for ice cream & they are just going home on a long drive having had no dessert?
