I have a bunch of keys on a key ring that only 1 is valid to anything. It is to my daughter's house. Since I don't know till I try them which one it is, I just keep them in case I eve need to go in her house in an emergency. These other keys belonged to places I lived once or children lived once or cars I drove once. I just keep adding on keys. And since I never knew if they fit till I tried them, I had to keep them all. I used to keep them in my car or house. But I would have not have keep them in a borrowed or rented car unless I knew I would need them.
I belive that those Keys where like mine and that is how they got that way. Some how they got picked up from his house and planted by someone who did not know they where not his house keys. Opens up a whole can of worms.
