It depends on where you are. Around Yreka they are after truckers and won't stop a car unless going over 80. Over 80 they will stop any car. Over ninety I believe you get to go to Jail. I am not real sure about Southern CA except that they enforce by aircraft mostly as I understand it. I know that many people have written that the area in question towards Dana Point had heavy Sunday Night traffic as many are going home from weekend getaways. Charlie, Kate, Myself,Robert Miller, John Junot, and so many others have studied this until we were crosseyed at one point and it was pretty well proven that even at 80 it was pretty unlikely that anyone could have driven that distance with the construction going on at the time. Also in California the fines are doubled for speeding in Construction Zones. We ran into this on our way home, the signs at least said so. I wouldn't be surprised if the double fines existed then but I can't say this is true
