Do you have any idea how many people would have checked the time. Most people do almost automatically check the time after an event. Yet they questioned no one about it. I would bet that someone in the crowd or a professional taped the whole recital and that would have given the time. And no doubt the teacher would have checked to see if the time she had for the recital to be over was in the ball game. Then by chance the one person who had the vidio of OJ just happened to not have an accurate time on his vidio.
