While doing some research today, I came across Petro Man's Opening Statement. I don't recall if I had ever read it before.
Some info I found interesting.
He has Ron walking home from work. He says he didn't shave but did change clothes and have no idea of whether he took a shower or not. (not shaving if you have a sex encounter soon??)
Says he took Scott's car out of HIS garage. I know basically what apartments are in LA and was surprised at his having an apt with a garage. Every "perk" that each apt has costs more. And he owned no car. And he only had several hundred dollars in his bank account.
Says he drove over to Nicole's and interrupted OJ killing Nicole so he was killed because he was a witness.
Also, this was telling since I was just reading today that Jasper says OJ called Sydney at 925. I didn't recall it that way but me being me I can't find my Killing Time book right now.
He says that after 9;11 (don't know where he got this time or why) Kato and OJ went to McDonald's and returned at 935. As I said in another post, if OJ called Sydney at 925, he did it in the car with Kato and I have never ever heard that before.
Here is where it gets interesting as well. He talks as if the only thing Ron did was come home, perhaps shower, change clothes and head out to Nic's in her car--yet goes with the 1040 Heistra time for the deaths. (remember he has him walking home from the Mezz--perhaps 5-8 minutes or less)
Does anybody ever recall hearing that OJ called Sydney while in the car going to McDonald's with Kato in the car?
And Petro Man says the autopsy said he hadn't recently shaved. Does it seem likely to you that if he had a big hot date with Nicole --that he wouldn't shave?
Oddly, he also says OJ got home from the recital at either 630 or 700. He doesn't say between 630 and 700.
So he isn't even going by what the Browns may have told him about when the recital was over.
Just brings up more questions.
Petro Man also claims that Nicole ran the hot bath prior to getting the call from the Judy about the missing glasses. What he fails to explain is why she didn't go on and take her bath at that point. Says she lit the candles then too. How could he possibly KNOW that?
That would make the bath water still warm at 1200--more than 2 hrs (closer to 2 1/2 hrs) before she was found. I don't think so.
ONe thing his "scenario" does bring up is what he would be doing all that time and why he didn't arrive til about 1040. Doesn't seem likely he was "killing time" (pardon the pun) unless he was told not to come til later.
And if he was going to go to Marina Del Ray why did he waste time before going over to Nicole's and why didn't he answer his phone?
Remember, there may be a phone call from Andrea Scott during that time lasting close to 10 minutes. And if her time is correct, it might not have come in til 1020. The DA's would have known that yet they put the time of death by 1015. Or perhaps while he was still on the phone with Andrea if she actually called earlier.
Now I am really curious about that phone call from OJ and what time it was. As I told Jasper, I had heard all along that it was prior to 9 (when he called Christian). Ah hah, that might be how they timed when they went to McDonald's.
