Kari, Read your post where you fairly exploded with rage about this case. No criticism--just comment.
Although I would not go as far as you, I am very upset that the things we learned (years later in some cases) were hidden in the trial or presented in such a way that the importance of them was not known until years later.
Just some examples are the claim that they couldn't get the phone dumps.
The keys to nowhere, the "missing car keys" (where were they found? elsewhere? in his pocket?) and the possibility (strong) that the car was not there the night before by Riske's own testimony.
The ankh necklace? Where was it? Why did we never hear of it except from Goldman?
And throw in the almost buried remark from Kim in court that Ron's shoes and belt have never been found.
When it is put that a man leaves work--does not shave (for a date?) and we don't know if he showered, goes over to the condo with a set of old keys to nowhere, the so-called borrowed car is not seen til 4 pm the next day...with wiped prints and parked in the wrong direction, etc. ---a necklace torn off and thrown down but we have no idea where it happened or where it was found because it never showed up in evidence. And so forth--
This should have been a BIG RED Flag to everybody--esp. the Goldman's. But not a peep from them. And most we didn't know til years later when we put it all together.
So a victim is killed away from home--with old keys and NO apartment key whose belt and shoes that he wore that night are missing. His possible transportation quite possibly was not there until the next day--put there by someone else.
The missing apartment key could have been used to go to his apartment for removing things from his apartment. Only one uniform is found at his home when it is unlikely that he had only one pr of pants and one shirt to work in when his job is likely to get food and odors on them daily. We find out years later that some guys left a message that they were on their way over there.
And it goes on and on.
We have Singular being told to tell the defense to test ALL the blood evidence for Edta -not just the gate and the socks. As it turned out, EDTA was found on the items that were tested. Would it have been found in ALL the others had they been tested.
And btw, while my Senior brain is thinking of it, it was Leslie Abramson who said she saw the phone bill where there was a phone call between Nic and her mother from 1017 to 1027. Said this on ABC the last day of the Prelim Hearing.
I can understand your rage.
And I will say as well, that there is at the least a hint that Ron may not have gotten there under his own steam.
